Dr. Sunilam Demands criminal cases against revenue officials for forging documents
Kisan Sangharsh Smiti working president Ex MLA Dr. Sunilam said to the media persons that criminal case 409, 419, 420, 467 and 468 of IPC  should be registered against Revenue Officials of Chaurai Tehsil, Chhindwada district for changing forest land (Chhote Jhad ka Jungle) in to grassland. He said that Patwari, Tehsildar and SDM of Chaurai in collision with DM Chhindwada have fabricated the revenue documents. He also demanded that allocation to Adani’s Power Project should be cancelled and illegal construction done by Adani must be removed immediately as project was not given environmental clearance by ministry of Environment and forest. Ministry has also not given NoC to change the category of land.  Dr. Sunilam stated that corruption of crore of rupees is involved in the transfer of 20 hectare of land to Adani so case must be registered. Dr. Sunilam demanded the state government to get the whole issues investigated by EOW. Dr. Sunilam said that farmers of affected villages will be organizing Kisan Mahapanchayat on 10th Feb. in the village Chausara where illegal construction is going on.
Dr. Sunilam also informed to press about forceful acquisition of land in the Pench Diversion Project, where farmers are not ready to give their land at any cost but senior administrative officials of irrigation department with massive police deployment. He said that land of farmers of taking on the pretext of construction of irrigation dam but actually government has already made a agreement with Adani to sale it’s water. In view of latest directions of Supreme Court no land can be used for commercial purpose after acquiring it in public interest. Kisan Mahapanchayat will be organized by KSS tomorrow with the demand to stop land acquisition and for cancellation of Pench Diversion Project at village Jamburi Panda. Dr. Sunilam said that meeting of National Alliance of People’s Movement is being organized on 13th February at Nagpur to finalize the date of demonstration on parliament.
Dr. Sunilam Also informed about the meeting of India against corruption on 19th February at MLA rest house Bhopal in order to finalize the strategy of campaign for Jan Lokayukt Bill during coming assembly session in Madhya Pradesh and for Jan Lokpal bill during parliament session.
